PORSCHE PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION (PPI)

When considering a used Porsche purchase, aim for peace of mind. Let the Porsche service experts at JZM Gulf inspect the car in advance, for maximum information to help you make the right decision.
Specialist advice on cars you would like to buy (or perhaps you have already bought a car) requires considerable Porsche expertise. The JZM Gulf service workshop enjoys over 100 years of combined Porsche experience. A JZM Gulf Porsche inspection will provide valuable information, sure to be useful and after purchase.

HOW TO ARRANGE YOUR PORSCHE PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION

Call JZM Gulf on 02 555 2090. After a few simple questions, we can arrange a convenient time and date with our service advisor, for us to see your car and carry out an in-depth inspection. If you are buying a car, and time is of the essence, we will do our very best to see the car as quickly as possible.

SERVICE WHILE YOU WAIT

On the day your car is booked for inspection, you may leave it with us or you are welcome to stay until the report has been completed. The JZM Gulf service reception has free wi-fi and plenty of tea and coffee available.

A full report may take up to three hours to complete. The service advisor will discuss our findings with you when the inspection is done.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A JZM GULF PORSCHE INSPECTION

We start the inspection by checking that all the lights are working correctly and inspecting all lenses for chips or cracks. We check all the cockpit instrumentation and switches, and complete a general inspection of the interior including seats, seat belts and trim.

If your Porsche has a diagnostic socket, we plug in our official Porsche computer and check all the recorded data. We look for correct mileage (matching dash mileage and ECU mileage), engine over-revs and any logged faults.

When we have completed these checks, we then move onto the exterior. We test all doors and locks, front bonnet and rear hood operation, then examine the paintwork for scratching, chips and originality.

PORSCHE INSPECTION PART 2

We now send the ramp up halfway and check all balljoints, suspension, steering, remove the road wheels and inspect your tyres for wear, tear and irregularities. We stack the wheels, out of the working area, to protect them from any possible damage. We check and measure the brake discs and pads, brake calipers, brake hoses, drive shafts and all other components housed in the wheel arch area, including air conditioning condensers, oil coolers and oil lines.

PORSCHE INSPECTION PART 3

We now lift the ramp to its maximum height, where we can carefully inspect the Porsche underbody, chassis, fuel and brake lines, gearbox condition and examine the engine for leaks. Next we’ll check the exhaust system, all mountings, and roll bars and have a good general look around for anything that will need to be reported. Your car is then taken on a test drive.

Driving, particularly in rush hour traffic can be difficult, but our test drivers are very careful and safe at all times, whilst still making sure that the car is performing as it should.

THE FINAL DECISION IS YOURS

Any new information gathered from the test drive is added to the information already collected to produce your final report. If you have chosen not to wait with the car, we’ll call you to explain our report, making sure you fully understand the details.

We will answer any questions you may have and advise you of the cost of any work the car may need now or in the near future. A written report will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

PORSCHE CAR FREE PICKUP

WHAT IS OUR FREE PICKUP SERVICE?

At JZM Gulf we offer all Porsche owners the convenience to have their car collected for FREE within Abu Dhabi and for AED 350 from Dubai. If you have a breakdown or need servicing or a repair, contact us to arrange your pickup.

PORSCHE WARRANTY

JZM Gulf now offers a Porsche warranty which is tailored to the needs of your Porsche.

It’s been carefully constructed to offer peace of mind so you can enjoy driving your Porsche. If you own a Porsche which is no more than 10 years old and you are considering buying a warranty then read the attached file as we believe this is one of the most comprehensive warranties in the market today.

To be eligible for our warranty you will need to have your car checked by our workshop a process which will take between 3-4 hours. This check will cost 700 AED and refunded if a warranty policy is taken.

We will check for any known faults at the time which will have to be rectified before entering in to a warranty agreement. An estimate for any faults will be made and discussed with you at the time. All cars must be outside the manufactures warranty and no more than 10 years old.

  • Price for one year warranty = 8,000 AED (With one complementary oil and filter change)
  • Price for two year warranty = 14,500 AED (With two complementary oil and filter change)

PORSCHE AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE

The JZM Gulf Porsche air conditioning repair service is critical to keep your system running efficiently at all times and prevent problems in the future. We use state-of-the-art equipment to maintain your Porsche A/C or climate control system.

PORSCHE AIR CONDITIONING USES GAS AS THE ENGINE USES OIL

Studies show that over ten percent of air-conditioning refrigerant gas leaks from the A/C system every year, meaning your A/C may not work as well as it should. Manufacturers recommend that air conditioning systems are recharged with gas and lubricant every two years. This operation is not part of routine vehicle servicing, so if your vehicle is more than two years old, it is overdue an A/C recharge.

JZM GULF AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE

JZM Gulf will check and test your A/C system. If no faults are found, we will replace and recharge lubricant and refrigerant levels in line with the manufacturer’s recommendation.

You will receive a condition report printout of your A/C and we will also add a free cleaner to remove any unpleasant smells and bacteria that may have built up.

FULL PORSCHE AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE COSTS 450 AED

Note: if the A/C system is not working correctly and we find no fault, you will not be charged for this service. In the case of major faults found, we will recommended what is required to repair your air conditioning.

PAINT POLISH DETAILING & PROTECTION

WHAT IS PAINT POLISH PROTECTION AND WHY DO YOU NEED IT?

There are many car paint protection systems out there, with wax probably being the most recognized treatment, which is better than nothing, but recent years have seen technology moving forwards rapidly and we are glad to introduce this new paint protection system to our customers.

Our paint protection system consists of three stages:

  1. Washing/ Cleaning/ Decontamination stage
  2. Paintwork Correction/ Polishing stage
  3. Nano Composite Coating Application stage

The Coating bonds to the paintwork chemically and once cured, can’t be removed by simply washing the car or by using chemicals. It is extremely durable and 100% Inorganic – meaning it is not affected by sun’s UV or IR radiation.

The coating protects the surface by adding an extra permanent layer above the substrate, which is extremely durable, with high chemical resistance, reduces scratch and swirl mark build-up, is oil, water and dirt repellent, extremely glossy with candy gloss like reflections and extremely easy to clean.

This treatment is applied on the whole car – Paintwork, trim, wheels, windows, rubbers, exhaust tips, etc. Giving your Porsche full protection for all weather conditions and looking stunning for years to come.
